Upgrade and advance tools

One of the most important as well as advanced tools in Photoshop is “Animation”. This option is very helpful for beginners because this option teach you basic steps for animation and you can simply animate the object and can execute it in GIF format.

This option is used to set animated wallpaper in mobile, pc, tablet etc.

How to create Animation

  • Create a Photoshop file.
  • Create any object with new layer. Minimum two object maximum as per your requirement and each object must be in individual layer.
  • Then goto window panel.
  • Click on Animation/Timeline option. After that the panel will be appeared on the bottom of Photoshop.
  • Then final step is adding the layer to the timeline frame by help of “Duplicate selected frames”. (Note: each layer add only individual timeline frame for that you have to hide other layer when you add any object to the timeline.)
  • After addition now click on play button to see the animation.
  • There are some options like – tween/play/pause/stop/forward/rewind/delete etc.
  • Note : Tween is used for smooth animation.

Then the final step is save the animation. So for that you have to go through by FILESAVE FOR WEB – save it in GIF format.

Another hidden option in here is – “Convert to Video Timeline”. In this option you can edit footage and also you can use sound, video effect, transition, and the most important is you can add key frame. Which is very important for edit video in free way. If you need more layer for video or sound than that scope also available in here. After complete the editing part you need to render it into a desirable format. So click on render option or goto file MENU – EXPORT – RENDER VIDEO.

render

In this panel you can change setting for video output. Like its quality, frame size, aspect ratio, frame per second etc. so there is no doubt Photoshop is behind from any other video editing software. But it is not specialized for Animation/Editing. It is a designing software and animation/editing is just a part of it.
