Color correction is just like a soul of image whenever we take a picture we forgot to do one thing which is color correction. In fact professional artists are also doing same mistake. Color correction is one and only important part where we can change the color and we can put various types of color effect on the image and as usual we know photographers also use this part even if how much the photo is better but the final touch is going through by Photoshop.

So first let me clear to you there are so many options in Photoshop to retouch the photo and all are important but which is the best one to use for correction.

Color Correction Procedure

According to the CC there are 3 different ways where a picture passes through. Now the question is HOW AN IMAGE PASSES THROUGH THESE LEVELS?

color correction photoshop

  • Basic Level.

In this level the image used to reset the actual default color. Most probable it reset the light, depth and color by using Auto layer, Auto Levels, Auto Contrast. Sometimes we can use levels and curves for clearing the image. So in this level we are set descending position to ascending position of the image. If you are not set the first step than you will face some difficulties in the CC time.

  • Mid Level.

In this level we are adjust the color and also maintain the skin tone because RGB is the base color and the flow of the color is in descending order so we have to balance the color very carefully. Note: when we maintain the color just keep one thing in mind you must mask the area first and then apply. (Use Selective color, Hue Saturation, Color balance, Variation)

Note
Always try to reset the picture color white position because you can easily mix-up different color smoothly from white level.
  • Final Level.

Final level is the last part of CC where we can put tint color on the image in according to the picture color and it’s very important (wrong tint color can vary the result and use blur to super fine the image)

Note
After complete the image creates a new layer and put a light color or put a color and decrease the opacity for tint.
